Congratulations!

Congratulations to Rocio and Ronald! Both successfully defended their doctoral thesis in December 2023 receiving a double-degree from the Université d’Aix-Marseille and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

Position paper from the Maastricht Conference accepted for publication


The Position Paper of the 4th Maastricht Consensus Conference on Thrombosis has recently been accepted for publications. This publication summarises the outcome of all scientific sessions of the conference. All TICARDIO Members have contributed to this publication.

Symposium on Thrombo-inflammation POSTPONED!!!

TICARDIO Symposium: July 2-4th 2020 POSTPONED

Local regulations to limit the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic do not allow larger events in Germany until at least the end of August 2020. We will therefore postpone our CTH Anniversary Symposium to February 19-20 2021.

We are pleased to invite you to our TICARDIO symposium on Thrombo-inflammation in Mainz and to announce the confirmed keynote speakers. The year 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis in Mainz and we are looking forward to celebrate with you on this occasion.

It’s our pleasure to announce that Tsvee Lapidot (Rehovot, Israel), Gwendalyn Randolph (St. Louis, USA) and Willem Ouwehand (Cambridge, UK) already confirmed their participation as keynote speakers.

Further details will follow as soon as we can proceed with planning the event.

TICARDIO kick-off meeting, April 3-4, 2019

TICARDIO will officially start on April 1, 2019 for its 48-month duration. The coordinating institution CTH, will host TICARDIO’s kick-off meeting from April 3-4, 2019 at its premises in Mainz, Germany. During this meeting the rules and regulations applying to the project will be discussed and all Consortium Bodies, including the Supervisory Board will be decided upon.
