3rd TICARDIO Conference Marseille
The 3rd TICARDIO Conference will take place from 15-17th March 2023 in Marseille.
This conference, which is also the final Get-together of the Consortium, will give TICARDIO the opportunity to look back at 4 fruitful years of collaboration - despite challenging times!
We are very much looking forward to discuss the outcome of all TICARDIO projects (all ESRs will be presenting), as well as to the presentations of invited international speakers, TICARDIO Principial Investigators and local researchers from AMU.
A further highlight of this conference is the participation of INNOVTE, a French network of clinics engaged in research on venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. On day 1 INNOVTE will share their latest findings in their field with the audience.
The conference venue is located at the ‘Golden Tulip Villa Massalia’ situated on the verge of Borély Park with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.

2nd TICARDIO Conference Maastricht
The 2nd TICARDIO network conference was jointly organized with the 4th MCCT (Maastricht Consensus Conference on Thrombosis) from the 23.03.-25.03.2022. The focus of the conference was on ‘Blood Coagulation and beyond’.
In addition to international key note speakers from Europe and the USA, the conference focused on research topics of the European Joint Doctorates Program TICARDIO: Project leaders from the partner sites in Mainz, Marseille and Maastricht presented latest research results on their respective topics, with Prof. Francoise Dignat-George giving the key note lecture. The program coordinator, Prof. Ruf, also gave apresentation summarizing the achievements of the TICARDIO programme to date.
TICARDIO's Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) moderated workshops in which conference topics were discussed in depth with the speakers. A review article on the highly topical subjects and the consensus reached in all workshops has meanwhile been submitted for publication with the active participation of the ESRs.
1st TICARDIO Conference Mainz
The 1st TICARDIO network conference was was held virtually from 18.-19.02.2021. The conference was organized by the CTH/UMC-Mainz and the focus of the conference was on Thrombo-Inflammation in Cardiovascular Disease.
